This company is a privately owned Building Services Consultancy that has been established for almost 10 years. THE ROLE:

As an Electrical Design Engineer you will assist in the overall preparation and submission of detailed design and co-ordination of Building Services solutions including, Lighting, Small Power, Fire Alarms, Low Voltage Distribution, Communications, Intruder Alarms, Access Control, Standby Generation and Lightning Protection. You will be working on a full range of electrical design principles, calculations and current codes of practice and legislation and will be working closely with the lead mechanical engineer to ensure full coordination and integration of the engineering services design.

THE PERSON:

To be considered for this role, you must have some experience of working within a similar role for either a Building Services Consultancy or Contractor. The ideal candidate must have knowledge of BS 7671 17th edition, CIBSE guides, Building regs, British Standards and BREEAM with experience of Cable sizing using AMTECH and CYMAP ELECTRICAL.
