They offer Mechanical & Electrical services across a wide range of sectors including: Healthcare, Residential, Retail, Industrial, Leisure, Commercial, Education and Public Sector.

THE ROLE:

As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Prepare monthly management accounts using project accounting methods, accruals, prepayments, and similar accounting entries.
  • Lead and deliver payroll including HMRC and pension submissions.
  • Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns.
  • Prepare supplier payment runs for director sign-off.
  • Leading the analysis of monthly, quarterly, annual reporting and present findings at Leadership meetings.
  • Track the company’s financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement.
  • Budgeting and forecasting

THE CANDIDATE:

To be successful in this role candidates should have an analytical mindset and the ability to manage their work efficiently. Strong technical project and management accounting knowledge (preferably in the Construction industry). Experience of management accounting, project accounting, forecasting, budgeting, AP and AR. A formal accounting qualification would be ideal however, candidates who can demonstrate relevant experience will still be considered.
