Our client has a great opportunity for Hygiene Operatives to join their experienced, dedicated and friendly team, the successful candidate will carry out varied cleaning work, on a foodproduction site in Melton Mowbray.

The primary role of the Hygiene Operative is to clean the facilities Operatives are required to carry out all types of cleaning work, with the site where you will be based. The work will run on a Day Shift 07:00 – 15:00.

Duties and Responsibilities would include:

• Carrying out cleaning work in food manufacturing & processing industries
• Working within a variety of working environments including wet, cold, humid, hot, dry and/or dusty conditions
• Carrying out all varieties of cleaning work including but not limited to plant cleaning, working at height, and working within confined spaces
• Working in and contributing positively to a team-based operation
• Working to Hygiene & Client safety, quality & hygiene requirements
• Undergoing necessary training in relation to high level cleaning, confined space entry, etc

Previous experience in cleaning is an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided.

• The ability to work to time constraints both on your own initiative and as a part of a team
• The ability to follow procedures thoroughly
