THE COMPANY:

The company are an industry leading, global Logistics & Supply Chain company that have an excellent reputation across the world. They have been going for over 130 years and in this time, they’ve built relationships with some of the most prestigious companies. Through growth they are now looking to add to their Sea Freight Imports team by recruiting an Imports Customer Care Specialist.

THE ROLE:

As an Imports Customer Care Specialist, you will be responsible for direct interaction with customers providing proactive service to ensure that customers have a positive experience. You will be monitoring customer shipments in order to provide updates to customers and to problem solve (by collaborating with other stake-holders) in anticipation of a customer complaint. Conduct claims management, from reporting through to closure. You will be liaising with customers, Line Managers and Sales & Account Managers.

THE CANDIDATE:

Successful candidates should have previous experience within Sea Freight/Shipping and be very focused around Customer care. You should be able to prioritise work under pressure. A team player would fit in well as there will be a lot of collaboration with other members of various teams.
