The secret to their staggering longevity is their ability and willingness to innovate as well as their dedicated, hard working staff, for which they are looking to add a new IT Infrastructure Manager to their number.
As the new IT Infrastructure Manager, you will be expected to oversee the day-to-day activities of the IT Team and any technology implementation projects. You should also be able to create and enact disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimise any major disruptions, as well as providing direction and support to best improve and optimise IT technologies for the business and its end users. Additionally, this role will require you to recognise key areas where more cost-effective measures could be implemented, develop a strategy on how to implement such measures and then do so. A key area of this role also entails the ability build, develop, and maintain key vendor relationships.
The ideal candidate for this position will not only have a firm understanding of all areas of the IT sector with upwards of 2 years’ experience in a similar position but will also have good interpersonal communication skills and a keen sense for how best to optimise the efficiency of all IT related areas within the company. You should also have hand on experience with new and older versions of Windows and display excellent time management and problem resolution skills.
