This company are an award winning fit out contractor with over 20 years’ experience of delivering high end, complex projects for businesses across various industry sectors, including: Commercial, Industrial, Health, Education, Food & Beverage, Leisure and Retail. Through steady and sustained growth, they are now looking at adding to their team by recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer.

THE ROLE

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the full detailed design & co-ordination of Mechanical Services Projects and Tenders, covering all aspects plumbing, heating, chilled water, above ground drainage, ventilation, air-conditioning, gas  & domestic water services. Areas of work covered range from warehouse & office fit out, schools & colleges, hotel & leisure and hospitals. You will be responsible for setting up the CAD drawings, design programmes (Hevacomp Etc) from scratch, producing detailed designs, CP’s, Tech-Subs etc from concept to completion, liaising with the estimating & contracts engineers.

THE PERSON

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in Building Services and an excellent knowledge or Building Regulations. Somebody with knowledge of Hevacomp, Auto-Cad etc and a minimum qualification of HNC in Building Services would be an asset to this company.
