THE ROLE; 

The responsibilities for a music teacher would be planning and preparing lessons in relation to individual student needs and examination syllabuses. Teach music theory, aural skills and practical techniques so that they are prepared for examinations. Making sure you are motivating pupils and encouraging their progresses, creating and maintaining a network of contacts to ensure work continuity. Ensuring up-to-date knowledge and feedback for the pupils.  

THE CANDIDATE; 

The ideal candidate for this role will need a minimum of 2 years working in a classroom environment teaching music. You will also need a bachelor’s degree in music, GCSE grade C and above. Earn a bachelor’s degree in music or music education that includes a teacher preparation program.
