We are looking for an individual that will be able to take care of children’s personal needs, planning and organising both fun and educational sensory activities. To keep a record of achievement file on key children for parents/carers. Preparation and completion of activities to suit the children’s stage of development. Washing and changing children as required and providing comfort and warmth to an ill child. Ensuring the setting is of a high-quality environment to meet the needs of individual children from differing cultures and religious backgrounds and stages of development.
The minimum requirement for a nursery assistants’ role is to have minimum of 2 or more pass GCSE or equivalent for maths and English. Must have a qualification such as NVQ level 3 or BTEC/DIPLOMA in child care if possible. Work experience in a nursery setting for at least 6 months. First aid course if possible.
