Senior Electrical Design Engineer

THE COMPANY:

The company are an established consultancy specialising in the design and integration of Building Services Projects. The company have an excellent reputation within the industry has been built upon providing an uncomplicated and uncompromising professional service to clients with the same high level of commitment whatever the size of project. They are now looking to take on a Senior Electrical Design Engineer for their Derby office.

THE ROLE:

As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will be expected to complete full design specifications and drawings for electrical systems on a variety of different sized projects. Such systems include: Fire, Lighting, Security and Access Control. Types of projects include: Healthcare, Education, Leisure, Commercial & Industrial, Retail, and more. Typical values of projects are up to £8M. The role will be a couple of days in the office and the rest of the week remotely from home.

THE CANDIDATE:

A suitable candidate should have 6+ years’ experience in a Building Services Electrical Design role. You should have experience using Building services design packages and previously designed systems as mentioned above. Experience working on projects across various sectors as above is required. Candidates should be AutoCAD competent; and have a desire to further their career.
