THE ROLE:

In this role your responsibilities will centre around a number of ongoing projects such as the upgrade of Active Directory Domain Services across 3 sites within a large financial organisation, moving the business from Windows Server 2008 R2 across to a mixed Windows Server 2012 R2 and 2016 domain environment, building servers to specifications (both physical and virtual), and assisting in an initial AD design review and then helping to plan out and implement the steps to move all domain controllers in each site away from 2008 R2.

THE CANDIDATE:

The ideal candidate for this position will have a keen understanding of all areas of the IT sector including – server set up and maintenance – with upwards of 4 years’ experience in a similar position(s) but will also have good interpersonal communication skills and a good sense for how best to optimise the efficiency of all IT fields within the company. You should also have hand on experience with current and legacy versions of Windows and display excellent time management and problem resolution skills.
