THE COMPANY:

This trust is responsible for three separate NHS hospitals that serve a combined approximate of 700,000 residents within their surrounding districts and counties. Previously these hospitals had been overseen by separate trusts, though after a recent merger they have come under shared management. The trust employs nearly 7000 staff members and is supported by over 500 volunteers. THE ROLE:

As a Senior IT Trainer and Application Support Officer you will be expected to train users either in a 1-1 session or in a classroom on how to use applications appropriately per their job role and provide them with data protection and misconduct rules while using Trust IT systems and equipment, provide support cross site, working to the requirements of ITIL service management to fix and provide IT issues users within the region are experiencing, work alongside multiple teams ranging from infrastructure and inhouse software developers to help improve and better applications & performance, and to use the active directory to maintain user accounts, while also creating and monitoring accounts in over 13 applications the trust uses. You will also be able to choose a field of expertise and primarily focus your efforts there. These areas include:

• Change Process (Change Request and Decision Log)

THE CANDIDATE:

As this is a senior position you will need to have at least 3 years’ experience in a similar previous role(s) and a relevant level 3 or higher qualification. Due to the high volume of tasks and people – both internal and external – you will be expected to interact with you must have exemplary time management and communication skills.
