THE COMPNANY:

With over 6 decades working in the education industry, this company has adapted to become a market-leading, international SaaS platform for schools. Their content includes teaching tools/activities/games, tests & visualization of student progress. All content on their platform is visually rich and animated to appeal to younger years.

THE ROLE:

In your duties as a senior programmer, you will be expected to take part in the full-stack development of web applications as part of a scrum team, mentor junior programmers and assist some mid-level developers, and help with pair-programming on difficult issues. You will also be a point of contact for Product Owners and other stakeholders with questions as well as being expected to run training/inductor seminars on new technologies and concepts.

THE CANDIDATE:

A successful candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience in similar roles and a relevant level 5 or higher qualification. A portfolio of previous projects and examples of your work will also be required as evidence of your skills. You will of course be required know a variety of software and coding languages, including Angular.io, CodeIgniter, SQL, TypeScript, Java and CSS.
