THE ROLE; 

The role for a teaching assistant job would require helping teachers create educational and engaging activities. Teaching materials and presentations for lessons. Providing extra help and assistance to struggling students throughout lessons an activity for extra support and SEND. Monitoring playtime activities during break times, basic help promptly intervening when required. Supporting children across the curriculum, often with a particular focus on maths, reading and writing, Helping with school trips, events and assistance. Setting up equipment and helping to prepare the classroom for lessons, tidying up afterwards and helping with displays. 

THE CANDIDATE; 

The ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar teaching assistant role, you will have a Literacy and Numeracy qualifications to GCSE or equivalent grade C or. You will be required to take a literacy and maths test. The post would suit applicants with flexibility, highly motivated and sensitivity. An excellent understanding of SEND and other learning support difficulties is essential. The candidate must be able to demonstrate a willingness to be a team player alongside our committed support team. SEND-related training would be ideal or be trained through work.
