Our client a market leader in the POS industry are currently looking to recruit a warehouse administrator on a temporary to permanent basis. The role will be based at their site on Meridian Business Park,

Warehouse Administrator

Administrator responsibilities includes data entry, updating reports and maintaining appropriate filing systems. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organise their work using tools, like MS Excel and office equipment.

Shifts: 8:00am to 5:00pm

This is a Temp – Perm role. Temp hourly rate will be £8.50 – £9 per hour.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Develop and maintain a filing system
  • Maintain and update stock management system
  • Meet shipping timescales
  • Track Shipments
  • Supporting Warehouse personnel
  • Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients as and when required
  • Liaise with manager to handle requests and queries from senior managers

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
  • Computer literate
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel skills required intermediate to advanced level)
  • Experience with working with v lookups and pivot tables
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to priorities work
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Ideally suited to a graduate
